About BES - History & Legacy

B.E.S was established with the support and dedication of many educationists and well wishers in Malleswaram.

The school came into existence with the help of persons like Mr. S.C. Venkatesh, Mr. P. Ramadev, Mr. B.M. Ram Rao and Smt. Nagarathna Rao.

The school was successfully started and named as The Bangalore Education Society on 18th January 1965. Smt. Lokasundari Raman wife of Sir C.V. Raman [Nobel Laureate] inaugurated the school.

A dedicated committee members who believed in sincerity and simplicity started guiding the institution from 1965.

In 1978, with the joint efforts of The Bangalore Education Society and Gandhi Sahithya Sangha plans were made to build a permanent school building. Their dedication, unity and service laid strong foundation for the growth and success of B.E.S which continues to inspire students even today.
