From the Secretary's Desk
It is my honour to serve as the Secretary of "The Bangalore Education Society",
the school that has completed 60 years of faithful service to children and community.
We were founded not merely to teach subjects, but to build character.
For six decades, our classrooms have been guided by the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi:
Satya (Truth), Ahimsa (Non-violence), Sarvodaya (welfare of all),
Swadeshi (self-reliance) and Shram (dignity of labour).
"By education I mean an all-round drawing out of the best in child and man-body, mind and spirit."
That remains our compass.
When the world is rushing towards marks and machines, we continue to believe that
quality education must first make a good human being.
Our teachers therefore strive for three things every day:
- Clarity of thought through rigorous academics
- Purity of heart through values lived, not just taught
- Strength of hand through work, service and discipline
Whether it is the Morning Prayer in silence, the spinning wheel in our craft room,
the cleanliness drives led by students, or the simple uniform we wear with pride,
each practice is a small lesson in humility, responsibility and truth.
As we enter our 61st year, our commitment is unchanged:
to offer every child who enters our gate an education that is affordable,
rooted in Indian culture and relevant to the modern world.
I invite you to visit us, walk our corridors, meet our teachers,
and feel the quiet strength of a Gandhian school.
